Welcome to Saffron Hypnotherapy. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.​

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• I understand that life can be busy and sometimes unpredictable. Hypnotherapy sessions involve significant planning and preparation on the part of the therapist. I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any session cancellations or rescheduling. This advance notice allows me to offer the appointment to another client in need.

• Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, but every effort will be made to reschedule the appointment.

• Refunds will not be issued to clients who change their mind about continuing with hypnotherapy. This is because client scheduling, waitlists and time allocated to case preparation turn on anticipated workload.

• Sessions cancelled with less than 24-hours’ notice will incur the full session fee. If you need to cancel, please call or email me as soon as you can.

Therapeutic outcomes:

• I am dedicated to working with you to reach your desired outcomes and goals. Like all therapy, results will vary and they depend partly on your mindset, motivation and commitment to engage with the process; including ‘out of session’ practise and reflection. Your active participation is key to your success.

• Outcomes are greatly improved for clients who attend their allocated sessions in consecutive weeks. Too long a break between sessions reduces the cumulative impact and benefits of the therapy undertaken.

Please read the Informed Consent form (shared with you at the first session) and the 'What is Hypnotherapy?' page of the website to understand how hypnotherapy works and the outcomes you can hope to achieve. Clinical hypnotherapy is not a substitute for the need to obtain medical advice.​

Session length:

A hypnotherapy session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes. Please ensure that you allocate enough time for your session. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate a full session but this cannot be guaranteed. Curtailed sessions will attract the full session fee.

Session conduct:

• I adhere to the General Hypnotherapy Register’s (GHR) Professional Code of Ethics and Practice.

• I am committed to creating a space that feels respectful and supportive. In the rare case that sessions need to be discontinued due to unsafe or inappropriate behaviour, refunds will not be given.

• During the first session, I will ask you to complete some intake forms. You must disclose honestly any issues or reasons why you are not suitable for hypnotherapy when asked. This is necessary for your own safety and wellbeing.

• You agree to avoid alcohol and drugs prior to sessions (except medication prescribed by your doctor).

 

Our prices and plans:

Individual sessions are charged at £70.00. Most clients will need between 3-6 treatment sessions; although some phobias can be treated in 1-2 sessions.

 

Booking:

If you are interested in booking a hypnotherapy session, click here to book an initial consultation. This lasts between 20-30 minutes and is an opportunity for us to discuss how we can work together.

Questions or complaints:

If you have any questions or concerns about your therapy, please discuss them with your therapist first. I value your feedback and aim to provide the best possible experience for you. If you prefer, or if you wish to take the matter further, you may make a complaint by email, marked “Confidential”, directly to the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) at admin@general-hypnotherapy-register.com. Please provide full details of the issues you wish to raise and reference these issues to the specific Clause (or Clauses) within the GHR Code of Ethics. You should also include written confirmation that a copy of your complaint may be forwarded to your therapist.

Liability insurance:

• As required by the General Hypnotherapy Register’s (GHR) Professional Code of Ethics and Practice, I hold Professional Indemnity, Public Liability & Product Liability insurance
